Terms of Business
Payment for our services is due 14 days from the date of the invoice. As the fee is based on the number of bedrooms if the number of bedrooms is different than that quoted at the time of the booking the appointment we reserve the right to amend our fee accordingly. If the completion of a report is impossible or impractical for reasons beyond EPC Solutions (Kent)’s control it may be necessary to arrange another appointment. EPC Solutions (Kent) reserves the right to charge for the original appointment on a pro rata basis. EPC Solutions (Kent) cannot undertake an inspection where a young person (under the age of 16) is left in charge. We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to our indicated credit terms. Interest will be charged at 5% over Nat West base rate from the date of the invoice reminder until paid. The actual debt recovery costs will be added. The Owners and staff of EPC Solutions (Kent) are obligated to declare any conflict of interest and/or financial relationships with others involved in the transaction or commissioning of the report. An EPC is not valid until it has been allocated a report reference number. EPC Solutions (Kent) cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any delays over which it has no control. In the unlikely event of a dispute regarding the service provided, a Complaints Procedure is available on request.
